International museums can be visited virtually. It is the initiative of ten of the most famous museum on the planet that offer guided tour on the web. The idea of virtual tours was born because of the Coronavirus pandemic that imposed a lock down to the world population. No trips, no travel from one Country to another and even within the same State, except in exceptional cases. An obligatory practice that Italy has been adopting for several days.
Among the ten museums participating in the initiative three are in Italy: the Vatican Museums in Rome, the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The other international museums involved in the virtual tour are the Louvre in Paris, the Prado in Madrid, the British Museum in London. And the National Museum of Korea in Seoul, the MoMA and Met of New York, the Archaeological Museum of Athens, the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
